Elluminate Live

We were able to learn useful information on the use of technology from Mrs. Bree Reynolds from our e-meeting on Elluminate Live. I am more amazed that she is able to use and integrate all kinds of technology into her curriculum content. Some of the technology I found interesting were using palm pilots, wireless keyboards and Nintendo DS in the classroom. She shared videos on how to make a SmartBoard using wii-mote and an infrared pen. She also shared how she uses other internet programs like surveymonkey.com, polldaddy.com, wolframalpha.com and skype.com.

Elluminate Live is a good alternative to learning at distances. In some ways, it may also be a good way for students to stay focused on the e-meetings. It is interactive and information can be presented in other media that make it eye-catching for participants.

Elluminate Live can be a great tool for communicating and learning from others at distant places. It may be a great way to get a guest speaker that is unable to make it into the classroom. It keeps students involved in their learning and provides different mediums to show information.
