In the classroom, I may have students create their own portfolio as a student interest survey to learn more about them and how they learn. Students may have tabs from different subjects. I thought the audio and visuals worked well - especially with good internet access.&amp;nbsp; I liked how it was really LIVE!&lt;br /&gt;2. If I had a chance to do the presentation over, I would have learned to be more proficient with other options for moderator priviliges so that I would have been able to publish the site for the PPT and all participants were able to view at the same time I did.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;3. Not viewing the PPT at the Elluminate site was a challenge. I had trouble opening another window to view the PPT and going back and forth between windows - this wasted a lot of time. The Slideshare.net page was unavailable for a period of time, making it difficult to access our PPTs.&lt;br /&gt;4. I am more amazed that she is able to use and integrate all kinds of technology into her curriculum content. Some of the technology I found interesting were using palm pilots, wireless keyboards and Nintendo DS in the classroom. She shared videos on how to make a SmartBoard using wii-mote and an infrared pen. She also shared how she uses other internet programs like surveymonkey.com, polldaddy.com, wolframalpha.com and skype.com.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Elluminate Live is a good alternative to learning at distances. In some ways, it may also be a good way for students to stay focused on the e-meetings. It is interactive and information can be presented in other media that make it eye-catching for participants.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;Elluminate Live can be a great tool for communicating and learning from others at distant places. It may be a great way to get a guest speaker that is unable to make it into the classroom. I like Slideshare because it is a great way for students to access the PowerPoint again from home or any computer location in case they need to view it again. You can use the website as a database for keeping PowerPoints and share it with other teachers in the same grade or school.&amp;nbsp; It saves time for other teachers to do the work when it's already there. All you have to do is look for it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;4. I would like to use it as a database to keep all PowerPoints so that I can continue to use them each year. I can go back and edit the PowerPoints to tailor to the grade levels. The sample activity was a D.O.L. activity. Participants were able to view the word processor document. We were all able to view the page at the same time and were tasked to correct the sentences in the page. We were able to view other participants corrections and additions in real time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;We also browsed through www.zoho.com that had different collaborative applications such as the word processor, spreadsheet, note taker and online presentation tool.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;2) These kinds of software are useful if everyone had access to a computer &amp;amp; internet access. Even classrooms do not have enough computers for all students to use at the same time. However, should you have the opportunity to use these kinds of software, you may use it post projects, assignments or forums. Students can use/view the projects at the same time and work together on projects/assignments.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;3) An example of an assignment I might assign my future students is to use Zoho Show Online Presentation tool (like a PowerPoint maker) to work on and present information on a Science or Social Studies topic. They do not have to be physically together to create a presentation. They can be elsewhere like a library or at home, but can work together via internet to view their project and add details to their presentation. Each student will actively be involved in the creation and presentation of their project.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;D.O.L. We created a sample WebQuest project.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: &amp;quot;Helvetica Neue&amp;quot;,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;2. I used &lt;a href="http://questgarden.com/"&gt;questgarden.com&lt;/a&gt; software to create this project. I would rate this software. on a scale of 1-10, as a 9. I liked how userfriendly it was. It was easy to follow directions and had something like a wizard to help you fill out the pages. It did not however include other information like grade level, curriculum subject, etc.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: &amp;quot;Helvetica Neue&amp;quot;,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp; would&amp;nbsp; use WebQuest for students in upper grades - 5th-12th. Using WebQuest benefits students that like working with technology (computers). This type of assignment/project is interactive and provides links and sources that students can explore to search for information. I didn't know that there was anything like this - I should imagine that there are many possibilities with the internet. It was easy to learn to use the software and create projects. We input dates, events and information to create timelines. We first created a simple timeline of our life events. We later created an informative timeline on 6 events in Computer History.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;2. I would use these timeline programs in the classroom to help provide a visual for teaching important events in history, social studies or science. I may ask students to use these programs to create timelines of different periods as their projects. I may use it to learn more about students' lives from creating their own timelines.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; I would rate teach-nology.com's Timeline generator as 9. This website's generator would be easy to use with students. However, including information may be limited.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;  I would rate xtimeline.com's timeline generator as 8 as there is no option to view brief details with events.
